Power restored to nearly 1,500 SCE&G customers in Summerville

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) — Power has been restored to nearly 1,500 SCE&G customers in Summerville. An estimated 1,474 SCG&E customers were without power Friday morning due to an outage.

The area affected was near Boone Hill Road between Orangeburd Road and Old Trolley Road.

Power was restored by 7:55 a.m. on Friday.

According to the SCG&E website, most outages are restored within three hours, though some take longer.
