SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) — People in the town of Summerville are working to preserve their natural surroundings while embracing new infrastructure. City officials say they want to ensure they have a plan in place to build new infrastructre in an environmentally safe way.
On Thursday, the town is hosting an open forum to show the finalized maps, risks and opportunities for the Green Infrastructure Plan. The forum is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Council Chambers at Summerville Town Hall (200 S. Main Street) and is open to the public.
City officials are encouraging Summerville residents to attend, as they want to hear the community’s input on the matter.
