Police, firefighters respond to possible gas leak downtown

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — Charleston Police and Charleston Fire Charleston responded to a a reported gas leak on the 200 block of Grove Street in downtown Charleston, according to Charleston County dispatch.

The call came in at 9:58 a.m. on Thursday.

There are no reports of any injures at this time. The cause of the reported gas leak is still unknown.

We’re told the scene was cleared at 10:46 a.m.
