GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – The last member of the Cross Tracks street gang has pled guilty to a series of violent home invasions in Greenville.
Lorenzo Azia Jackson, 25, pled guilty to armed robbery and attempted murder and was sentence to 18 years, according to the solicitor’s office.
He will have to serve 85% of the sentence before he is eligible for parole.
They say Jackson was the last of ten defendants charged in the case to admit guilt.
Members of the gang admitted guilt not only for a home invasion on Sept 3, 2014, but also a home invasion and a shoot out at a home Evelyn Drive on August 26, 20914.
Investigators say they thought there was a safe with a large amount of money inside, but they only got $20 before shooting on victim and hitting two others with their guns.
Days later they entered a different home on the same street and attacked the four people inside before they took purses, cash and two cars.
Jakobe German, 17, pled guilty to two counts of Burglary 1st Degree and 2 counts of Armed Robbery. Sentence to 17 years.
The remaining juvenile co-defendant is serving an indeterminate commitment at the Department of Juvenile Justice.
