2 sisters charged in school bus pepper spray incident

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCBD) — Two sisters are charged with third degree assault after using pepper spray on a school bus.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Office says the girls, 16 and 15-years-old were arguing with another student, when the 15 year old sprayed the teen with pepper spray Tuesday, August 23.

Twenty-one students went to the hospital, but no one was injured.

The 15-year-old is also charged with possession of a weapon on school property.
