The Lowcountry will be without one of its biggest Halloween attractions this year. Boone Hall announced it will not be putting on “Fright Nights” this October.
The plantation posted this statement on their Facebook page late Thursday night:
“We will not be presenting the Boone Hall Fright Nights event in 2016. Recently Boone Hall Plantation and DVE Productions decided to go their separate ways and at the time this decision was made it just did not give us the time that is necessary to get a team together for a 2016 event.Plans are already underway to bring this event back in 2017 and hopefully take this popular fall event to the next level. It is worth noting that DVE Productions did a very good job designing and presenting this event during our years together and we thank them for the standards they have set for this event and wish them the best.”
A spokesman for Boone Hall will says they still have their pumpkin patch, kid-friendly hay rides, and corn maze this year.
Boone Hall’s Halloween run October 1st through 31st.
