Man impersonates cop in Mount Pleasant

Suspect ask employee "Do you like guns?"

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) – A man is charged with impersonating an officer following an incident in Mount Pleasant Saturday afternoon.

The incident happened at Taco Bell on Colemen Boulevard on August 13.

According to an incident report, a man came through the drive-thru, laid a gun on the window, and asked the employee “Do you like guns?” Then he went on to say “it’s OK, i’m a cop.”

William Wolfe Tully, 22, was arrested Saturday and released on a $20,000 bond.
