Berkeley County stand-off ends peacefully

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office says a stand-off near College Park Road ended peacefully.

Chief Deputy Mike Cochran told News 2 that he wasn’t quite how the incident started but two men were involved in an incident on Miami Street  in Berkeley County. One person surrendered immediately.

We’re told deputies were on bike patrol on in the area when incident took place.

One of the suspects told authorities that Hadrian Jameson had a gun in his possession.

The SWAT team was called in.

Hadrian Jameson ran into a occupied house and went into attic, according to Cochran. He says the people inside left when Jameson arrived. Jameson later gave himself up after deputies and one of his relatives spoke with him on a loudspeaker.

We’re told Jameson has outstanding warrants for aggravated assault. He, and the first suspect, are being transported to the Hill Finklea Detention Center.

The entire incident took about an hour.

We’re told no injuries occurred during the incident.
