ATV stolen from Ladson business; search is on for two men involved

LADSON, S.C. (WCBD) — Velocity Powersports in Ladson is trying to find the men who stole an ATV last week.

Authorities say two men cut a hole in the electronic fence on the side of Velocity last week, stealing a 2016 Yamaha Raptor 700.

The vehicle is worth about $7,000.

Security cameras caught both men on camera. One man covered his head, but revealed a tattoo on his shoulder.

“It makes you feel frustrated and somewhat violated because you’re working hard as a businessperson to run a good business and take care of your customer.” said Jerry Cristo, the owner of Velocity. “Then you have somebody who comes in and steals your product,” he added.

If you have any information, contact your local law enforcement agency or call Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.
