Temporary worker shut off life-support systems at South Carolina Aquarium

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The Charleston Police is investigating after a temporary worker shut off a life-support system on purpose at the South Carolina Aquarium.

According to an incident report, aquarium officials found pumps and electrical breakers turned off over several days in July.

We’re told workers set up a go-pro camera and caught, Diazjuan Antonio Brown, 25, of Charleston, turning off The Great Ocean Tank’s system an hour later.

Brown was fired and no animal were hurt.
