Lawn mower, four wheeler stolen from Orangeburg County

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — Orangeburg County investigators need your help finding a stolen lawn mower and four wheeler.

According to Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office, on Monday, August, 1, a man reported his John Deere mower and a 2014 Polaris Ranger four wheeler stolen taken from his property near Cordova.

We’re told at around 1 p.m., the victim parked his equipment on his property. When he returned around 5:30 p.m., equipment were gone.

The owner is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

As of now, authorities are searching for Gene Rutland, 33, of Swansea. He’s considered a person of interest and may have information.
