Charleston Fire Dept: gas is secured on Folly Rd. following reports of possible leak

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The Charleston Fire Department and SCE&G are on the scene of reports of a gal leak on Folly Road. Fire officials say gas is secured, and no street closures are in effect.

Charleston County dispatch confirmed reports of a possible gas leak on Folly Road Boulevard and Yeamans Road just before 9:00 a.m. on Monday morning.

No word on any injuries or what caused the smell of gas in the area.
