Search is on for suspect in Handy Mart burglary in Bonneau

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office is searching for the person responsible for a burglary at a store in Bonneau.

David Roger Hill, Jr., 25, of Moncks Corner, is wanted for second degree burglary and grand larceny under $10,000 due to his involvement of a burglary and larceny from the Handy Mart on N. Highway 17 in Bonneau on Monday, July 4.

Hill is described as a white man, standing at 6’01, weighing 185 pounds.

“We would really like to have David Hill in custody,” said Berkeley County Sheriff Duane Lewis. “The burglary at the Handy Mart is a significant loss to the owners and Hill needs to be brought to justice,” Lewis added.
