As the popularity of Pokemon Go has spread, so have the safety concerns.

Greenville Police say they haven’t had any reports of accidents related to the game, but they have seen a large number of people with their phones out walking downtown. They ask you to be vigilant and not get tunnel vision.

Duke Energy is asking players to stay away from its substations and power plants.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol says don’t play behind the wheel.

“Even pikachu would tell you not to drive distracted,” said Sgt. Bob Beres. “We ask you to limit your distractions. You don’t want to put your life at risk in the vehicles around you at risk, by using this app while you’re driving.”

AAA says playing Pokemon Go in your car is just as dangerous as texting and driving.
