One person injured following shooting in North Charleston

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — One person was transported to a local hospital following a shooting in North Charleston.

Authorities say the incident took place on Friday, July 1 at 6:21 p.m. in the 2700 block of Ranger Drive.

We’re told one male was struck once by gunfire. Medics transported him to the Medical University of South Carolina for treatment.

Investigators say the suspects left the scene in possibly a black pick-up truck. No arrests have been made.
