CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — AAA Carolinas announced a new distracted driving campaign hoping to stop deaths on the roads in South Carolina.
The campaign encourages drivers to disconnect from their cellphones, and just drive.
Along with texting and driving, teens are also using social media while behind the wheel.
This comes in the midst of the “100 deadliest days” for teens. It’s the time between Memorial Day and Labor Day when teen crash deaths historically climb.
