NORTH, S.C. (WCBD) — An Orangeburg County man is charged with sexually assaulting an 8-year-old child.
Reginald Williams, 48, of Salley is charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor under age 11.
Investigators say they were notified of possible sexual misconduct at an Orangeburg County home on Sunday, April 30. We’re told the victim told her mother Williams had touched her inappropriately on several occasions as well as asked for sexual favors.
Williams he faces a mandatory 25 years, if convicted, and up to a life sentence. A judge told him he would have to seek any bond consideration from a circuit court judge.
