BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — Michael Colucci, a well known Lowcountry business owner accused of killing his wife, will be back in court on Wednesday, June 8.
“The reason that I never asked Michael what happened to Sara was simple. I had concluded two years sooner the truth was not in him. There’s no need to ask someone that you were 99% sure is going to lie to you, and that’s when Michael has done,” James Moore, Sara’s father, said.
“I had concluded two years sooner the truth was not in him.”
An affidavit says that on May 20, 2015, Berkeley County deputies found the victim outside a building in Summerville. Colucci initially told investigators his wife hanged herself with a garden hose.
He was arrested by SLED agents and booked just before noon Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Colucci also has a preliminary hearing scheduled for July 1 at 10 a.m.
