CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) — The Charleston Branch NAACP says several teachers were unjustly fired from Charleston Charter School for Math and Science.
Three teachers at the school were not offered contracts to teach next year, according to the NAACP. We’re told the teachers were told it was because their philosophies didn’t align with the school’s.
The teachers claimed the principal said they were being let go for “other things” but the principal failed to provide them with written proof.
