One in custody connected to North Charleston Sunday shooting

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCBD) — The North Charleston Police Department is investigating a Sunday morning shooting.

Police say it happened at in the 4900 block of Gaynor Avenue shortly after 10:00 a.m.. Officials say the victim reported he and the suspect got in an argument. The altercation between the two became physical, and the victim was shot in the left calf.

The victim left, and called police from a location on Nesbitt Drive. He was treated at the hospital.

Police arrested the suspect.
