MassPort says flight 147 was headed to Chicago when severe shaking injured several people

Several passengers are recovering Tuesday morning after turbulence on a Southwest flight forced the plane to return to Logan Airport in Boston.

MassPort says flight 147 was headed to Chicago when severe shaking injured several people.

Four passengers suffered minor injuries and two had to be taken to a hospital.

At least two others refused treatment.

The plane has since landed in Chicago safely.
