CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — Parents, you could be waking your kids up earlier in the morning next school year.
The Charleston County School District has proposed a plan that would bump up the first bell anywhere from 5 minutes to 35 minutes earlier.
CCSD breaks it down school by school with your current start time and the proposed start time for the 2016-2017 school year. The change would have the biggest impact on Elementary age students. The first bell would be pushed up at some Middle and High schools, but majority would start 5 minutes later.
