RAVENEL, S.C. (WCBD) — Three people, including a child, are dead and another person wounded after a shooting at a mobile home park in Ravenel on Tuesday, May 17.
On Wednesday morning, the Charleston County Coroner released the identities of the victims as Betty Mungin, 55; Alexis Mungin, 29; and Armani Mungin, 8. They were all from Ravenel. We also learned Alexis Mungin was pregnant at the time of the shooting.
According to the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday at 1:27 p.m., deputies were sent to 5360 Savannah Highway, Ravenel Mobile Home Park, to investigate a report of shots fired, and possibly a domestic related disturbance.
We’re told a suspect was seen attempting to leave the mobile home park in his vehicle with a female passenger.

After the suspect was arrested, deputies found a female suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. Medics transported her to the Medical University of South Carolina for treatment.
Additional deputies arrived on scene and found the bodies of two women and one female child. All three victims were shot to death, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

While deputies continues to search the home for more victims, they found a four month old baby who was unharmed. The infant was turned over to the Department of South Services.

The suspect is identified as Kenneth Ancrum, 23, of Ravenel. He’s currently being held at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center.
Ancrum is charged with murder and weapons charges. At a bond hearing, a judge granted him no bond on the murder charges and $500,000 on the weapons charge.
