Mt. Pleasant, SC (WCBD) – Celebrity chef Paula Deen is heading to the Lowcountry to promote her latest New York Times best selling cookbook.
Deen will make an appearance at two separate locations in Charleston.
First she will be heading to Joint Base Charleston on Lawson Drive from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Following that appearance, she will be at Barnes and Nobles on Sam Rittenburg Boulevard from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Deen’s new book is titled “Paula Deen Cuts the Fat: 250 Favorite Recipes All Lightened Up.”
In the book, she shares healthier versions of the classic southern recipes she is well known for.
Some of the newly revised recipes include: All-New Peach Cobbler, The Lady’s New Cheesy Mac and Beaufort Shrimp Pie.
Following her book signings in the Lowcountry, Paula Deen will head to the Upstate.
She has an event in Colombia where she will appear at Fort Jackson Wednesday afternoon, following that she heads to Forest Acres Wednesday evening for a book signing at the Barnes and Nobles.
