Authorities working two-vehicle accident in Ravenel

CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) — The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is investigating following an accident in Ravenel.

Authorities say the accident, involving two vehicles, took place on Tuesday, May 3 in the 6000 block of Savannah Highway near Burbage Meat Market.

We’re told the accident involved a GMC Jimmy and a Chevy Tahoe. All occupants in both vehicle were transported to the hospital to be treated for minor and moderate injuries.

For a short time, only one lane of Hwy 17 N and one lane of Hwy 17 S was open to traffic.  All lanes reopened at 5:43 p.m.
