Memorial held Tuesday to celebrate the life of Eric Brantley

Eric Brantley, 43, from Charleston

Friends and family will gather on Tuesday, April 26, at 2:00 p.m. at Riverfront Park in North Charleston to remember the life of Eric Brantley.

“His passion for all types of music is evidenced by his collection of vinyl records, and his love of motorcycles led him to lovingly restore many vintage bikes for himself and friends. Mostly, he will be remembered as a loyal and loving friend of so many in the Charleston area.”

43-year-old Eric Brantley, was found shot to death in a parking lot near Park Circle on Wednesday, April 20. He was a well-known bartender in the Charleston food and beverage community.

Victoria Deas, 20, and London Maybank, also 20, are charged with accessory to murder after the fact.

Police are searching for De’Andre Murphy and Jahmal Green in connection to Brantley’s murder.

Eric Devlin Brantley, 43, of Charleston, SC, passed away on April 20, 2016. He is survived by his mother, Suzanne J. Sentner and her partner, Charles Birk of North Charleston; his grandmother, Brenda Johnson of North Charleston; his brother, Steven I. Brantley and his partner, Tina Knight of Ravenel; his brother, Adam M. Senter; and niece, Keandra L. Sentner of Apex, NC; his father, Mark S. Brantley; his aunt, Monette Dearing and her husband, Gregory and family of Summerville, SC; his aunt, Michelle Bridges and her husband, David of Charleston; and his grandfather, Roger C. Schoer of North Charleston. Eric was an accomplished lifelong musician, well known in the Charleston music scene, and favorite bartender of many at several downtown Charleston, West Ashley and North Charleston clubs. His passion for all types of music is evidenced by his collection of vinyl records, and his love of motorcycles led him to lovingly restore many vintage bikes for himself and friends. Mostly, he will be remembered as a loyal and loving friend of so many in the Charleston area.

There will be a Memorial to celebrate Eric’s life on Tuesday, April 26th at 2:00 P.M. at Riverfront Park in North Charleston.
