MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCBD) — A second person has been arrested in connection to a shooting in Mount Pleasant.
Authorities say on Wednesday, April 20 at 11:30 a.m., William Nathaniel Alston Jr., 24, was arrested in connection with the April 6 shooting in Remely’s Point near Mathis Ferry Road.
We’re told Alston was arrested during a traffic stop on Remount Road near Rivers Avenue by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force with the assistance of the Mount Pleasant Police Department and the Charleston City Police Department.
Alston has been charged with attempted murder and is being held at the Al Cannon, Jr. Detention Center.
