ST. LOUIS (AP) – Suburban St. Louis police say they’re investigating a shooting on the Washington University campus as a possible road rage case.
Clayton Police Chief Kevin Murphy says a woman who was shot in the arm told police that she and the driver of the car she was in had argued with someone in a black SUV just before the shooting Wednesday. The SUV then drove away.
The afternoon shooting led to an emergency alert that put the private school on lockdown for about 90 minutes.
Police did not release the name of the woman shot.
