HAVE YOU SEEN THIS: Earth seen from International Space Station

Amazing images from NASA offer a spectacular view of Earth as seen from The International Space Station.

These images show city lights and lightning flashes as the ISS circles the Earth.

NASA describes the Space Station as a “microgravity laboratory”, occupied by 6 people traveling at a speed of 5 miles per second and orbiting the Earth every 90 minutes.

The Space Station has been occupied continuously since November 2000. In that time 222 people from 18 countries have visited the station.
