ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WCBD) — The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly collision in Orangeburg County.
Troopers say the incident happened at the intersection of Tee Vee and Antioch Roads on Wednesday, March 9 at 7:20 a.m.
We’re told the driver of a 2000 Chevrolet sedan was traveling west on Antioch Road when the driver went through the intersection and was struck by a 2001 Ford Pickup.
The driver of the Chevrolet was pronounced dead at the scene. We are working to learn the victim’s identity from the Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office.
The driver and passenger in the pickup was transported to an area hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time.
