Mount Pleasant man found murdered in Rhode Island hotel

On March 1st, the Middletown Police Department responded to a call of a suspicious death at the Quality Inn on West Main Road in Rhode Island and found a man dead and partially submerged in a bath tub. The man has been identified as Mark J. Lussier, 51, whose last known address is Long Point Road in Mount Pleasant.

During the investigation, officials learned that Lussier and two other people rented the room. The two other people are identified as Lavern Price, 49, of Park Holm Newport and Todd Sullo, 41, of Robbins Street in Providence. The two were identified as suspects.

Police tracked them down in New York and were spotted as they left New York City. According to Middletown Police, when Connecticut State Police attempted to stop the men, they tried to evade police but ended up crashing their vehicle. Price and Sullo have been arrested.
