(CNN) The cast of one of TV’s biggest comedy hits ever is reuniting.
Twelve years after going off the air, the cast of ‘Friends’ will reportedly come together on NBC for a 2-hour special.
The network made the announcement at the Television Critics Association’s press tour on Wednesday.
The special is a tribute to Friends’ legendary comedy director James Burrows, who recently shot his 1,000th episode of television.
‘Friends’ launched in 1994 and ran for 10 seasons.
When asked if all six cast members would be together for the special, NBC’s Robert Greenblatt told reporters, “I’m hoping all six will be in same room at same time. I’m not sure we can logistically pull it off.”
The special will air on Sunday, February 21.
