ASPCA: 19 horses recovering from Orangeburg seizure, asking for donations

The ASPCA released a Special News Alert on Friday, January 8 on the Emergency Equine Rescue in Orangeburg on Tuesday, January 5.

They say 19 horses are now recovering from being severely malnourished and neglected. They also say some of the horses may be pregnant.

The ASPCA provided equipment, supplies and expertise in emergency equine sheltering, along with medical assessments for the animals. They also covered vet and feeding costs and arranged placement for the horses.

They are now asking for the help of supporters to donate to their online campaign for the horses.
