NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – After torching opponents for 1,212 yards, 16 TDs and a state championship ring to show for it, Will Muschamp had seen enough of Fort Dorchester HS wide receiver Diondre Champaigne to extend him an offer.
The 6’3, 180 pound senior waited only two days to become the newest member of Muschamp’s inaugural recruiting class at South Carolina.
Champaigne had offers from UMass and Western Carolina, along with interest from East Carolina before going with the Gamecocks.
According to 247 Sports, Champaigne is South Carolina 16th commitment.
Commitments are non-binding until national signing day, February 3rd.
