We’ve learned from the North Charleston Police Department he was found unharmed.

On Friday, September 18, 19-year-old Ferdin left his apartment in Goose Creek and seemingly vanished.

On September 21, the U.S. Navy called Rena Ferdin, Vincent’s mother, to report that her son was missing. Both the local authorities and the Navy launched investigations to determine Vincent’s whereabouts.

Investigators said at the time, Ferdin was last seen leaving his girlfriend’s home in Ladson at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, September 18. His roommate told authorities that he left their home in Goose Creek at around midnight Friday to go to her house and he did not take his wallet or military ID with him. He was riding his bicycle.
