Charleston, S.C.–We sent News 2’s Ashley Yost to S.N.O.B (Slightly North of Broad) today and got an exclusive interview with Chef Christopher Holme. He gave his tips on how to make your Thanksgiving meal the best one yet!
Thanksgiving meal is ALL about the turkey. Holme gave his best advice–how to season it, how long to cook it, how long to wait until cutting into it and more! He also gave the key ingredients to add to the the essential trimmings like stuffing, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, cranberry sauce and gravy.
It’s not a full meal without some deserts! Holme told his tricks on how to keep pie crusts crispy while keeping the insides gooey. Also, he gives a different twist on the traditional pumpkin desert.
Finally, the meal always ends with full stomachs and typically full Tupperwares of leftovers. Holme talked about how to add a special twist to that left over food.
