PRESS RELEASE: “A Lowcountry Christmas” is an exciting new special event that is designed to bring some holiday magic and joy to people of all ages! This event will allow visitors to experience three completely immersive attractions that are designed to present some of the traditional elements of the Christmas season in a way people haven’t seen before.
This inaugural event will include:
This will be a fully immersive experience as guests will be able to enter into and tour through Santa’s once secretive castle filled with wonder. Through magical 3D glasses, guests will see Santa’s elves hard at work making toys as Mrs. Claus and her helpers are baking up goodies in her special kitchen; all while Santa is preparing for the big night. And yes, Santa will be there to greet all and pose for that special picture.
This will be a special stroll down a main street that is all about Christmas. All of the buildings along the street will be fully trimmed in lights as well as a full canopy of lights overhead that stretches the full length of the street; and once every half hour, the entire town will come alive as it produces a magical light show synchronized to music. The town will also include some holiday shops, seasonal food and beverages, plenty of entertainment all topped off with the town’s Christmas tree.
This is a fun filled, 20 minute ride on a hay wagon that will take guests through the wonderful Christmas story of Ebenezer Scrooge in the Christmas Carol. This magical journey through lights and custom displays will entertain guests with story telling and music as they experience the magic of Christmas from the point of view of the famous character – Scrooge.
