HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC — Today Show Weatherman Al Roker brought #Rokerthon to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina today.
It’s all apart of this quest to do a forecast in all 50 states and Washington, DC in the shortest period of time.
He not only shook hands and took pictures with locals in the area but Roker also went live with Storm Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Rob Fowler for an interview during News 2 at 5pm.
November 12 – 14, 2014 Al made history and broke the Guinness World Record for the longest uninterrupted live weather report broadcast — a remarkable 34 hours. He’s hoping to set another one.
Rokerthon is also benefiting the charity “Feeding America.”
For every $1 donated to Feeding America, 11 meals can be served to those in need.
