The Lowcountry Autism Foundation’s strives to improve the lives of families living with Autism and other developmental disabilities. They provide clinical diagnostic assessments and programs to support families throughout the lifespan.

Once an individual is diagnosed the family is thrown into a complicated web of therapies and services.  LAF’s goal is to decrease the stress on the family and connect them with every available resource.  Their behavioral intervention and educational support programs match each family with a specialist who creates individualized treatment plans and advocates for what is best for the individual.  LAF’s art therapy and social skills programs provide a safe and fun environment to foster relationships and build emotional intelligence. With a mostly volunteer, multidisciplinary staff LAF has provided over half a million dollars in free autism services, and all funds raised stay in South Carolina.
