How can I find my polling location?

If you do not know where your polling place is, you can use info.scvotes.sc.gov to find your polling place. If you have any issues or questions, please contact your County Clerk.

When voting in person, you will be asked to show one of the following Photo IDs at your polling place:

  • SC Driver’s License
  • SC Department of Motor Vehicles ID Card
  • SC Voter Registration Card with Photo
  • Federal Military ID
  • US Passport

When to Vote
Polling places are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.  Anyone in line at 7:00 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Election Day Transportation
If you know that you may need a ride to the polls on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd you may call the South Carolina Coalition for Voter Participation now @ 843-605-5076 or 843-568-8126. Transportation will be provided to the polls in Berkeley, Charleston, Colleton, Dorchester and Georgetown counties,.

Individuals will be transported regardless of race or party affiliation and will start at 7:30 AM and stop at 5PM on Election Day. Please call in your request early.

If you think that you have witnessed poll irregularities you may report your concerns by calling the SCCVP Voter Hotline at 843-822-7373.
