SCDOT Continues Debris Pickup in Four Counties

​Contractors working for the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) to pick up flooding debris are working in the following counties on October 30:

Sumter County – Crews will be making an additional pass in previously picked-up  areas.

Richland CountyDebris pick-up in the Forest Lake, Arcadia Lakes, Congaree Church and Eastover areas.

Williamsburg County – Debris crews will be working in the Gilland, Virginia and Warsaw areas and on State Route 104.

Georgetown County – Debris removal is scheduled for Cree Trail, Navaho Trail, Pinewood Drive, Dunbar Road, Washington Hill and streets in the City of Georgetown.

Property owners are reminded to separate debris into the categories illustrated in the attached chart. Also note that contractors are collecting debris by category, so not all debris may be taken away at one time. Contractors will make return trips to gather the categorized items.
