Officers get into the Halloween Spirit at Hanahan Elementary School

Hanahan Police Officers got into the Halloween Spirit and surprised parents and students as they arrived to school on Friday morning.

The Halloween Traffic Control was out in full force and full costume at Hanahan Elementary School.

Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy, Mike Cochran, shared these pictures of the officers dressed up as a Monkey (Detective Durant), Superman (Chief Turner) and Fred Flinstone (Detective Breen) as they directed traffic and passed out candy to parents dropping their kids off at school.

Cochran says “Chief Dennis Turner, Det. Dan Breen and Det. Fred Durant were all in for the kids.”
