Contractors working for the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) to pick up flooding debris are working in the following counties on October 28:
Dorchester County – Debris pickup will continue in the Summerwood subdivision, Gadsden Acres, the Sprucewood subdivision and Tranquil Estates.
Sumter County – Crews will pick up debris in Millwood, Tanglewood and Dogwood areas.
Lexington County – Pickups in the Coldstream and Pine Glenn subdivisions.
Richland County – Debris pick-up in the Forest Lake, Arcadia Lakes and Congraree Church area
Williamsburg County – Debris crews will be working in the Gilland, Hammer and Marion Street areas.
Property owners are reminded to separate debris into the categories illustrated in the attached chart. Also note that contractors are collecting debris by category, so not all debris may be taken away at one time. Contractors will make return trips to gather the categorized items.
