Contractors working for the South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) to pick up flooding debris are working in the following counties on October 26:
Berkeley County – Debris pickup in College Park Estates in Ladson.
Dorchester County – Debris pickup will continue in the Ashborough subdivision, Summerwood subdivision and Tranquil Estates.
Sumter County – Crews will pick up debris in Tanglewood, Gin Branch, Ketch, Pepperidge and Dogwood Drive areas.
Lexington County – Pickups in the Coldstream and Pine Glenn subdivisions.
Richland County – Debris pick-up in the Forest Lake, Arcadia Lakes and Congaree Church area
Georgetown County – Debris pick-up on Cherokee, Gapway, Comanche Street and on Highway 51.
Property owners are reminded to separate debris into the categories illustrated in the attached chart.
Also note that contractors are collecting debris by category, so not all debris may be taken away at one time.
Contractors will make return trips to gather the categorized items.
