October 17, 2015: Reading at South Carolina, 2-1 W
Brett Cameron scored two goals and Mark Dekanich stopped 28 shots to lead the South Carolina Stingrays to a 2-1 victory over the Reading Royals on Opening Night at the North Charleston Coliseum. Both goaltenders made several key saves, but it was Dekanich that stole the show. In his first game with the Stingrays, the netminder made several fantastic saves including a sprawling save on Joe Rehkamp early in the third period. Reading outshot South Carolina 29-25 on the evening. Both teams failed to convert on the power play, as Reading was 0-for-4 and South Carolina was 0-for-3.
October 18, 2015: Reading at South Carolina, 6-0 L
Three goals in the first nine minutes of the game and 20 saves from Martin Ouellette pushed the Reading Royals to a 6-0 victory over the South Carolina Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum on Sunday. Cam Reid had two goals for the Royals. South Carolina Stingrays goaltender Vitek Vanecek, a second round pick of the Washington Capitals in 2014, stopped 28 shots in his professional debut. Reading outshot the Stingrays 34-20 on the afternoon. 
Friday, October 23: South Carolina at Greenville, 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, October 24: Greenville at South Carolina, 7:05 p.m. 
Sunday, October 25: Atlanta at South Carolina, 3:05 p.m. 
The Stingrays have released defenseman Reid Campbell, the club announced today. Campbell started the season on the club’s reserve list and did not appear in either game last weekend. Campbell spent last season with Mississippi of the SPHL. 
The Stingrays special “Charleston Strong” jerseys that were worn during Opening Night are up for auction online. The auction is being held on in partnership with NHL Auctions and MeiGray. Proceeds raised from the auction go to the children of the victims involved in the Mother Emanuel AME Church shooting. 
Forward Joe Devin appeared in his 100th and 101st career ECHL regular season game last weekend. He has 50 points (25 goals, 25 assists) in his ECHL career. He notched an assist in South Carolina’s 2-1 win over Reading on Saturday. 
This Saturday, October 24 is Great Outdoors Night as Greenville visits at 7:05 p.m. On Sunday, October 25, Atlanta visits at 3:05 p.m. and it’s Princess and Pirates Day with Blackbeard’s Cove and a Crews Subaru & Charleston County Parks Family Days game with $5 Kids Tickets & $5 Kids Meals.
