James Island, SC- The Charleston Cabaret Theatre is collecting canned and packaged food, as well as monetary donations at all performances of Duke: King of Jazz now through Nov. 14. All donations will be given to James Island Community Outreach.
Patrons who bring donations will receive the following discount (or refund) on their regularly-priced ticket purchase:
- Bring one canned/packaged food item and receive one complementary beverage
- Bring five canned/packaged food items and receive $5 off ticket price
- Bring 10 canned/packaged food items and receive $10 off your ticket price
- Make a $25+ monetary donation to James Island Outreach at the Box Office and receive one free show admission
Charleston’s only cabaret-style theatre is currently featuring Duke: King of Jazz, an original dance musical featuring the music and style of Duke Ellington and the 1930s-era Cotton Club. Duke: King of Jazz is playing Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights now through November 14.
