Candidates for Charleston Mayor to participate in “Law & Justice” forum

The discussion will be held at Founder’s Hall at Charles Towne Landing from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. All candidates have committed to participating in the forum.

CHARLESTON, SC – The Charleston County Bar Association is one of six organizations sponsoring a mayoral candidate forum on Thursday, Oct. 22. Focusing on “Law & Justice,” the discussion will be held at Founder’s Hall at Charles Towne Landing from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. All candidates have committed to participating in the forum.

This event is intended to give the public insight on how the mayoral candidates feel about issues related to law and justice. Written questions will be gathered from forum participants and answered by each of the candidates.

The event is co-sponsored by: Charleston County Bar Association, South Carolina Chapter of the

Federal Bar Association, Charleston School of Law, Charleston Area Justice Ministry, League of

Women Voters Charleston Area and Thurgood Marshall Society.

Charleston residents go to the polls to elect a new mayor on Nov. 3.
