Dabo Swinney tired of ‘Clemsoning’ talk

CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemsoning: The act of delivering an inexplicably disappointing performance, usually within the context of a college football season.

The word “clemsoning” has yet to be added to Merriam-Webster dictionary and with the way the undefeated Tigers have played the 2015 season, chances are the word will fizzle into the same graveyard where “Tebowing” rests, but Dabo Swinney was asked a question with the word “Clemsoning” in his press conference following Clemson’s 43-24 victory over Georgia Tech.

“I’m sick of it,” he said. “I don’t even know why you bring up the dad-gum word? How about these other teams who lose to unranked teams all the time? We ain’t lost to anyone unranked since 2011, but I have to come to a press conference in 2015 and get asked that. And that’s all media bull crap.”

Watch the video above for Dabo’s thoughts on “Clemsoning”.
