Williamsburg Co. officials urging citizens south of Black, Santee Rivers to evacuate

The Williamsburg County Government Officials are conducting evacuation operations on Wednesday morning.

Officials are urging the citizens living south of the Black River, and Santee River to voluntarily evacuate, due to flood dangers.

They say if you choose to stay home and not follow the evacuation, do so at your own risk.

Williamsburg County Public Safety along with the South Carolina Army National Guard will be conducting evacuation efforts in the Andrews area of Williamsburg County, and the Lane area of Williamsburg County.

All citizens wanting to evacuate need to bring their own bedding and personal hygiene items due to limited supplies.
