National charity, Wine Women & Shoes, is pleased to host their third annual fundraising event in Charleston featuring an afternoon filled with Manolos and Merlot to benefit the Florence Crittenton Programs of South Carolina.
On Sunday, September 27th, from 1-5 pm, approximately 350 well-heeled, shoe savvy women will kick up their heels for a cause at the Daniel Island Club. Guests will stroll through magnificently appointed displays featuring shoes, handbags, jewelry and accessories bearing sought-after labels, sip libations from some of the country’s top winemakers, view a live runway show featuring local celebrities, and partake in an unforgettable auction, raffle and shoe competition.
“Great wines make every experience better, especially shopping…” quips Florence Crittenton Board Director, Philipa Ward, “…you get to try wines that you have never heard of, from regions that you didn’t know anything about – it creates a bond between you and your friends.” Over the past decade Wine Women & Shoes has become a shoe sensation, quickly taking a stance as the fastest-growing luxury event series created for women by women in the US. Now in its eleventh year, they have produced events in over 50 cities boasting 25,000 attendees per year. WW&S has helped net $20 million for various women’s and family-related causes that host this annual fundraiser, which began in Napa Valley.
